Is this real?
Lately, I’ve been noticing a surge of negativity towards AI, especially in the creative world. It feels like people are quick to blame the tool rather than the user, much like criticizing a sword instead of the swordsman. While I can understand the concerns about AI being seen as a symbol of laziness or dishonesty, I’ve personally found a silver lining in this wave of skepticism.
For me, the prevalence of misleading content has actually made me more critical and mindful of what I see online. It’s like my brain has developed a natural filter, constantly asking, “Is this real? Can I verify this?”
In a way, this pushback against AI is helping us evolve our critical thinking skills. It’s a reminder that we can’t take everything at face value anymore, and that’s a good thing. So, while AI may have its drawbacks, it’s also pushing us to be more discerning and thoughtful.
