Digital worlds within Ableton Projects

 You know that feeling when you reinvent something you've done a thousand times, and yet you're trying out a new way to do it from scratch, reworking a workflow you’ve already mastered? Different reasons, of course, and it kinda reminds you why you loved it in the first place. By the way, what's that thing for you? Or things? For me recently, I had to go back to an older version of Ableton Live because I fried my 2017 MacBook (we’ll talk about that another time). So now I’m switching from Live 12 to Live 11. That’s my default setup I’ve been using for about 98% of my tracks and live shows. Now I gotta rebuild my default. It took me years to develop that project — a little bit better every day. It might sound like a pain, but honestly, I just took my time and saw it as a chance to re-evaluate my design and sound choices I’ve made over the years.
