Creating "Aftermath" has been a deeply personal and intricate process, taking approximately 1.5 years to complete. You can catch glimpses of the creative process on my Twitch channel, where I share behind-the-scenes moments.
"While 'Aftermath' has been one of my most criticized works, it has also been a groundbreaking milestone in my career. It represents my first venture into creating music specifically optimized for live performances. STORY OF AFTERMATH [CONTINUES]
The path of creativity is seldom smooth and without obstacles, and my record "Aftermath" has been no exception. From its very inception, this project has encountered numerous challenges and faced its fair share of criticism and negative feedback. Yet, amidst the struggles, a remarkable journey of resilience and growth has unfolded.
One of the primary points of contention that "Aftermath" faced was its length—a captivating 11-minute sonic experience that pushed the boundaries of conventional song structures. This unconventional choice sparked discussions and raised eyebrows among listeners and critics alike. Some were quick to voice their disapproval, finding it difficult to digest such an extended composition. However, it was precisely this divergence from the norm that allowed "Aftermath" to carve its own unique path.
As the record made its way into the world, it encountered roadblocks in gaining attention and airplay. Radio stations initially declined to feature it due to its length and experimental nature. Undeterred, I took it upon myself to create an unofficial radio edit, condensing the essence of "Aftermath" into a more accessible format. It was a testament to my unwavering belief in the music and my determination to share it with a wider audience.
In the face of adversity, a shift began to occur. Gradually, the tide turned, and the reception of "Aftermath" started to shift as well. While some still held steadfast in their disapproval, a passionate and devoted following began to emerge—those who truly understood and appreciated the depth and intricacies of the record. The polarizing nature of the response became evident, with people either vehemently disliking it or wholeheartedly falling in love with its enigmatic charm. It became a musical work that invoked strong emotions, leaving no room for indifference.
To me, this extreme range of reactions serves as a compass pointing towards something profound. It reaffirms my belief that art should evoke emotions, challenge preconceptions, and ignite passionate discussions. The fact that "Aftermath" has managed to inspire such contrasting viewpoints indicates that I am moving in the right direction—pushing boundaries, defying expectations, and creating music that leaves an indelible mark on those who engage with it.
I firmly believe that the early struggles and critiques that "Aftermath" faced are not indicators of failure but rather stepping stones towards long-term success. They have strengthened my resolve, reinforced my artistic vision, and deepened my connection with those who resonate with the essence of this record. The journey of an artist is rarely straightforward, and it is in overcoming these challenges that we find our true artistic voice.
As I continue to navigate this musical voyage, I am filled with gratitude for those who have embraced "Aftermath" and supported me throughout this transformative journey. Your unwavering appreciation and love for the record fuel my creative fire and inspire me to continue pushing boundaries and exploring new artistic horizons.
To those who still hold reservations or have yet to discover the magic of "Aftermath," I invite you to approach it with an open mind and immerse yourself in its mesmerizing depths. Perhaps within its enigmatic melodies and evocative soundscapes, you will find an experience that resonates with your soul.
ABOUT ARTWORK
The artwork of "Aftermath" holds a special place in my heart as it symbolizes a profound shift in my artistic approach—one that embraces transparency and the beauty of keeping things real. This album cover stands as a testament to the power of simplicity and authenticity in artistic expression.
For the first time, I decided to let go of intricate designs and elaborate concepts, opting instead for a minimalist approach that perfectly captures the essence of the record. The artwork is a simple picture of me immersed in my music, playing on a MIDI controller—a genuine snapshot of a moment from one of my livestream sessions. It wasn't a carefully planned photoshoot or a staged pose; it was a spontaneous capture of me being exactly who I am, creating music straight from the heart.
This unassuming and candid shot embodies the core principle of "less is more." It is a visual representation of the transparency and vulnerability that I strive to bring to my music. By choosing this screenshot, I wanted to convey the message that art doesn't always need grandeur or intricacy to be impactful. Sometimes, the true power lies in embracing simplicity and authenticity, allowing the rawness of the moment to shine through.
This decision to break away from conventional album artwork norms was not without its challenges. It required me to let go of preconceived notions and expectations, and to embrace the beauty of imperfection. The result is an album cover that reflects the honesty and genuineness of "Aftermath," reminding us that art can transcend the boundaries of polished aesthetics and still deeply resonate with its audience.
By showcasing this unfiltered snapshot, I invite listeners to witness the essence of my musical journey—an intimate glimpse into the raw emotions and creative process that shape my work. It is a visual representation of the authenticity and vulnerability that I pour into every note and melody, encouraging others to embrace their own truth and express themselves genuinely.
The simplicity of the artwork also serves as a reminder that music is ultimately about connection—the connection between the artist and the listener. It's an invitation to join me on this journey, to experience the music as it truly is—unadorned and heartfelt.
As you dive into the world of "Aftermath," I hope this artwork resonates with you and serves as a reminder that transparency and authenticity are the cornerstones of meaningful artistic expression.

- Haunting, well produced and definitely gives off soundtrack vibes.. nice mixing, everything fits together nicely.
- I think lots of your sounds, maybe particularly the fast super deep bass, which later becomes slow. Something threathening about it, but I love it

-An ever evolving and growing journey through a dark atmospheric soundscape. Once again a truly inspirational track from an artist with a growing reputation to produce quality pieces. I have added this to my Stand Out Tracks 2023 X+ Playlist. This is about the third track that has won this accolade. The Stand Out X+ Playlists are an historical record of the year in the underground electronic genre. A track that gets on this list will never be removed. No one can pay to get on the playlist. Tracks are there by merit alone. Last year saw 238 tracks achieve this accolade. You also get a page on xplusplaylists.com/2nd-accident. Congratulations. Please save, follow and share the playlist with your fans. I look forward to hearing more of your work in the future.

- I did not expect to come across an 11 minute song. It's dark and gritty from the start. I picture this as a theme to a post-apocalyptic world. Think 28 days later. There's a lot of different textures and instruments to keep the song flowing and it avoids being repetitive. The dark piano chords fit well when they do make their appearance. But I also think the way they are played could be less robotic. But I'm just nitpicking. This truly is great and you're good at your craft.

- Nice piano and the drums are helping a lot. But it needs maybe another part so that the beat and hook could hit properly. The high pitched synth isn't that fitting for me for the chill vibe. The bridge part without anything was too less maybe.

- With these great surroundings and synths, I felt like floating in deep space. Really liked the climax!
