2nd Accident's 1st LIVE GIG
March 1st 2023 is a day that will forever hold a special place in my heart.
MY FIRST EVER LIVE GIG
Back in 2020, I had a conversation with my cousin where I expressed my deep desire to perform music live. We brainstormed ideas on how to approach the stage and build my skills and confidence. We came up with a plan: I would start live streaming on platforms like Twitch and YouTube to prepare myself for the real deal.
For the past two years, I dedicated myself to live streaming. It was a nerve-wracking but rewarding experience. The feedback I received from my viewers helped me improve my skills and gradually diminish the fear of performing live. It was a slow and steady process, but I could feel myself growing as an artist.
Fast forward to March 1st, 2023, a day that will forever hold a special place in my heart. I had the incredible opportunity to perform my first live gig at a fantastic venue called "Vine and Vinyls." The excitement mixed with a touch of nervousness, as I invited my housemates and new friends to witness this milestone in my journey.
As the day approached, I received plenty of warnings that the first performance is often a disaster. I mentally prepared myself for potential frustration and setbacks. But to my surprise, the night went far better than I could have ever imagined. It wasn't perfect, of course, but it surpassed my expectations by a long shot.
I cannot express enough gratitude to "Vine and Vinyls" especially Konrad and Adi, who is organizers of the event, for providing me with the platform and the opportunity to perform. The atmosphere was incredible, and the energy fueled my passion for music even more. To my housemates and friends who showed up to support me:
Ola, Weronika, Alex, Vera, Samet, Alan thank you from the bottom of my heart. Your presence and smiles made that day truly unforgettable.
I want to extend a special thanks to Konrad and Adi for their hard work and dedication in organizing the event. Their support and attention to detail ensured everything ran smoothly, allowing me to focus on giving my best performance.
March 1st, 2023, will forever be a significant turning point in my life. It shattered the notion that first performances are destined for disaster. It proved to me that with dedication, preparation, and the support of loved ones, dreams can become reality.
That evening kicked off the "International Days" aka series of music events at Vine & Vinyls.
One of the standout performances was by Rulyego, Volare Vincenzo, Ariel Zarrinmehr.
Soulful melodies and captivating stage presence of these artists transported the audience to another world. Their heartfelt lyrics and mesmerizing vocals resonated deeply, touching the hearts of everyone in attendance.
And later there was WaterFlower, whose ethereal sounds and atmospheric textures created a dreamlike ambiance. Their performance was a journey of sonic exploration, leaving me inspired and in awe of their musical creativity.
Each artist brought something special to the "International Days" events at Vine & Vinyls, pushing the boundaries of their craft and leaving a lasting impression on everyone who had the pleasure of witnessing their talents. It was a celebration of music, culture, and creativity that reminded me of the power of live performances to inspire, connect, and transform.I am immensely grateful to Vine & Vinyls for curating these incredible events and providing a platform for artists to shine. The "International Days" series showcased the diversity and richness of the music scene, fostering a sense of community and appreciation for the arts.
To all the artists who graced the stage during the "International Days," thank you for sharing your gifts and reminding us of the magic of live music. Your performances were a source of inspiration, and I am grateful to have been a part of such a remarkable series of events.
Aftermath and Agressive Patience was 2 records that opened the performance, and remind me of that evening every time I hear these records.
